Why can't I see subtitles at some YouTube videos?
YouTube offers the possibility to add so called "Closed Captions". If a video has these Closed Captions, the subtitles may not show immediately. You have to turn them on for each video:
  1. Look for an up arrow [ ^ ] button in the bottom-left corner of your YouTube player.
  2. Click it, and a sub-menu will popup with [CC] & [Annotations] buttons.
  3. Click on the [CC] button to turn on Closed Captions.
